We all hope that we won’t be faced with an emergency situation but as the Boy Scouts say, ‘always be prepared.

The 30 days 30 ways social media campaign highlights that by putting some simple things in place can help us be more prepared when faced with an emergency.

Boost your personal safety and preparedness by having a plan, preparation, and practice.

Knowing about the hazards and threats that have happened or could happen in your home or community will help you to plan and prepare.

Emergency Alerts is a new service from the government expected to launch in autumn 2022. Emergency alerts will warn you if there’s a danger to life nearby.
